I've tried to run SolidWorks on my M1 MacBook Pro. I managed to install it in a Parallels VM with ARM for windows. I've managed to go so far as installing SolidWorks successfully, though installing eDrawings and everything after it causes problems. The normal SolidWorks software loads. EDrawings Viewer for Windows, Mac and Mobile. Fast, reliable, and convenient, eDrawings allows you to view representations of 3D models and 2D drawings created by many of widely used CAD systems on the market. EDrawings Standard comes with a range of tools that help you to interrogate 3D design data, such as measuring, mark-up, section views.
